Plantar Fasciitis is caused by the plantar fascia becoming
inflamed and contracting.

Simply providing arch support does nothing to attack the cause of the pain which is the inflammation and contraction of the plantar fascia. "Like another reviewer, I've had plantar F. for about two years.
